How To Prepare
A little prep makes a big difference in your results and comfort.
Hair length
Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) for best results. Avoid shaving for at least 2–3 weeks before your appointment.
Day-of skin
Come with clean, dry skin — no lotions or oils on the area. Lightly exfoliate the day before to help lift any dead skin.
Skin products
Stop using products with retinol, retinoids, glycolic acid, or salicylic acid — including acne medications — for 7 days before waxing. If using Accutane, pause 6–12 months prior.
After your service
Avoid sun exposure, hot showers, tight clothing, and heavy products on the treated area for 24 hours. SPF is your best friend post-service.
COMMON QUESTIONS
What's the difference between waxing and sugaring?
Both remove hair from the root and leave you smooth for weeks. Sugaring uses a natural paste applied at room temperature and is removed in the direction of hair growth — meaning less breakage and less irritation, especially for sensitive skin. Waxing is faster for large areas and remains the most popular option overall.

How long does hair need to be before my appointment?
At least ¼ inch — roughly the length of a grain of rice. If you've been shaving, plan on 2–3 weeks of growth before coming in. If your hair is longer than an inch, you may want to trim it slightly beforehand.

Is waxing or threading better for my brows?
Both are great options. Threading is extremely precise and nothing touches the skin, making it ideal if you have sensitive skin or are prone to breakouts around the brow area. Waxing is faster and works well for most skin types. Our estheticians are happy to talk through which suits you best when you book.

How often should I come in?
Every 3–6 weeks, depending on your hair growth and the area. With regular appointments, hair often grows back finer and sparser over time — which is one of the biggest benefits of staying consistent.
